Michelle began her career as a piano and voice instructor over twenty years ago. Her resume includes teaching private lessons to beginning, intermediate, and advanced students, ages four to adult. In addition to teaching at her studio, Michelle has taught at several prominent music schools and colleges.
Michelle's comprehensive method of teaching is founded in classical and contemporary music and integrated with music theory. However, each student's curriculum is customized, based on individual student goals. She enjoys teaching and helping her students build up confidence in their ability to achieve, both academically and socially. Students from her studio receive training to participate in recitals, music festivals, evaluations and competitions.
Several of her students have gone on to win international prizes and attend notable music colleges, such as Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Boston Conservatory, Peabody Conservatory, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, New York University, Belmont University and University of Illinois- Urbana Champaign, Her music studio is located in Thornton, Pennsylvania and offers piano and voice lessons to surrounding areas such as
